Radix Electronic Design Ltd (formerly Radix Electronic Designs) was formed in 1992.  We are an electronic design consultancy focusing on the following specialities:

• Analogue circuit design from DC to radio frequency
• Digital circuit design including large-scale programmable logic devices.  Design entry in Abel, CUPL, PHDL, VHDL, and schematic
• Interfaces for processors ranging from 4 bit microcontrollers through PCs to minicomputers
• Real time control firmware and software for microcontrollers, microprocessors and DSPs.  Programming is generally in assembler or ‘C’
• Embedded TCP/IP, including browser interface and other protocols
• There is a particular emphasis on the AVR, PIC, and 8x51 microcontroller families, the TMS320 DSP family, and the Rabbit 2000 and 3000 processors
• USB devices, both simple and embedded processor-based
• General electronic interfacing and communications

We maintain current licences for several professional design software packages.
